Biografia

Elisa Gebennini è Professoressa Associata presso l’Università Telematica “Universitas Mercatorum” nel settore scientifico-disciplinare IIND-05/A Impianti industriali meccanici. Ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Ingegneria dell’Innovazione Industriale presso l’Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia e ha svolto un periodo di formazione e ricerca presso il Department of Mechanical Engineering del Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).Le sue attività di ricerca riguardano lo sviluppo di modelli analitici (in particolare markoviani e a tempo discreto/continuo) e simulativi per l’analisi delle performance di sistemi produttivi, supply chain e impianti logistici ad alta automazione. Ha approfondito tematiche quali la gestione stocastica di linee di produzione, l’ottimizzazione dei sistemi di movimentazione e stoccaggio (LGV, pallet shuttle), la programmazione della produzione e la progettazione di supply chain per prodotti deperibili e ad alta variabilità. Ha inoltre sviluppato modelli di supporto decisionale per la schedulazione dei turni di lavoro con vincoli ergonomici.Ha partecipato a numerosi progetti di ricerca nazionali e internazionali, tra cui il progetto europeo FP7 “PAN Robots”, PRIN, e progetti regionali finanziati (“3D printing di strutture metalliche aerospaziali” – POR FESR Lazio). Ha svolto attività di trasferimento tecnologico con aziende leader nel settore dell’automazione industriale, come Tetra Pak ed Elettric80.Dal punto di vista didattico, è titolare di insegnamenti nell’ambito degli impianti industriali, della digitalizzazione dei sistemi produttivi e dell’organizzazione della produzione e logistica nei corsi di laurea triennale e magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale. Coordina il Corso di Laurea L-9 presso Universitas Mercatorum ed è membro di diversi Collegi di Dottorato.Autrice di numerose pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali indicizzate (quali, Computers & Industrial Engineering, IJPR, IJPE, IIE Transactions), ha svolto il ruolo di Guest Editor e di referee per importanti journal del settore. È membro dell’Associazione Italiana Docenti di Impianti Industriali (AIDI) e partecipa attivamente a conferenze scientifiche come organizzatrice e relatrice.

Le Principali aree di ricerca in ambito accademico riguardano:

  • Linee di produzione: Sviluppo di modelli analitici Markoviani per la stima delle misure di performance di linee di produzione (in grado di considerare fenomeni stocastici, quali guasti ed inceppamenti, e l’effetto dell’interazione tra le macchine e tra macchine e buffer).
  • Supply chain: Sviluppo di metodologie e modelli simulativi per la valutazione di reti logistiche di distribuzione e recupero in contesti ad alta variabilità. Sviluppo di modelli di programmazione matematica per l’ottimizzazione in caso di problemi di "location-allocation".
  • Stoccaggio e logistica interna: Sviluppo di metodologie e modelli simulativi per il dimensionamento di sistemi di movimentazione e stoccaggio. In particolare, numerosi lavori hanno riguardato l’adozione di tecnologie di produzione e logistica ad alto grado di automazione (sistemi LGV, pallet-shuttle, sistemi di picking automatico, ...)
  • Ergonomia: Sviluppo di modelli di ottimizzazione per la schedulazione dei turni di lavoro considerando tempi di attraversamento e aspetti ergonomici
